Dr. Bielinski has been with SCIO® for 11 years. She currently serves as a Strategic Account Manager for SCIO’s PBM clients as well as various health plan clients. At SCIO, she has held various positions, including SVP of Operations for Retail Pharmacy, where she created and managed the pharmacy audit programs. Prior to joining SCIO®, she was the Chief Operating Officer for a regional home infusion, home health, and DME company. Dr. Bielinski is also an Accredited Health Care Fraud Investigator (AHFI).
Mark Howland is an actuary with over 30 years of experience. His strong background in the Health Insurance industry includes leadership positions with large national insurers, UnitedHealth Group and Aetna, and dominant local carriers Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Hampshire and ConnectiCare. His expertise ranges from pricing to underwriting, government relations and health insurance reform, at the individual, group, Medicare and Medicaid levels.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in mathematics from the University of Hartford in Connecticut, and is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Mantha is a seasoned management professional with over 20 years of experience mostly in US Health Care services covering both the payer and provider segments. He has worked with ACOs, Insurance Carriers, TPAs, PPO’s & MGU’s on the payer side and with Physician Groups, Hospitals and medical billing companies on the provider side providing KPO services, cost containment, claims audit operations, contract compliance, RCM services etc. He has strong domain and operational expertise in Reimbursement Optimization area and also led ANSI EDI transactions 4010, 5010 – 837, 835; ICD 9 and ICD 10 data transformation. Mantha is Six Sigma black belt & has experience in setting up processes from scratch & moving them up the value chain. He has immense strategic management and leadership experience working with startups and scaling operations.
Prior to joining SCIO®, Mantha held leadership positions with GE Capital, ABN AMRO Bank, Patni Computers, Symphony and Infinite. Mantha led Global Delivery operations for SCIO® for payment Integrity operations and played a key role in Business Process Improvement initiatives in the Care and Reimbursement Optimization. He led the Data Operations for SCIO® involving data integration, data quality and management.
Currently Mantha heads the Program Delivery for SCIO’s Reimbursement Optimization, which involves management of Inpatient, Outpatient, Ancillary, TPL and Pharmacy audit programs.
Arun heads the Global Analytics & Technology Centers of Excellence in both Revenue Optimization and Care Optimization. The Centers of Excellences are based out of the Chennai offices of SCIO in India. Arun was previously responsible for setting up the SCIO’s global Analytics and Technology portfolios in India prior to moving on to developing the analytics practice from India. In addition to his current leadership role in analytics, he is also responsible for managing the Off-Shore/Pre-Sales/Solutioning team, Marketing Support team and Chennai IT infrastructure.
Arun is a Six Sigma RABQSA Black Belt certification holder from Benchmark and has previously worked at TCS in various positions including Payer Practice Lead, Group Lead and Senior Consultant in the Corporate Life Sciences and Healthcare Practice. He has also worked in various levels including Global Delivery Head and Applications & Interfaces Manager at Kaiser Permanente IT, Pasadena, CA. He has also worked as a solutions architect with Citibank Credit Cards division, Singapore, AXA SLA Insurance, UK; and as a developer in Singapore Government PMO IT.
Arun’s domain experience includes focused healthcare payer product experience, AHM certification, HL7 Certified Interface Manager, Offshore-Onsite Models, KPO, Delivery Head, Products Management, Solution Architecture, and Business Intelligence and IT Integration Specialist. He has built end-to-end BPMN for health plans and providers, and h-BIDS – BI for healthcare, banking, government and insurance.
Rodger has over 16 years of operational and industry experience in healthcare, handling matters involving provider contracting, claims operations, provider and member dispute resolution, industry regulation, fraud, waste and abuse investigation, and Payment Integrity. After receiving a juris doctorate from New York University School of Law, he was in private practice as a commercial litigator for 8 years. At that point, he joined the legal team of a large regional health plan, Oxford Health, where he eventually led the Special Investigations Unit as well as a group tasked with addressing systemic overpayments, which together increased results by over 300% during his tenure, saving the company over $50 million. After its acquisition by United Health Group, Rodger was responsible for fraud, waste & abuse in United’s Northeast region.
Rodger left Oxford/United after 6 years to found WayMark Associates, which focused on select areas of Payment Integrity requiring specialized knowledge, and serving health plan clients both large and small. Since the acquisition of his firm by SCIO Health Analytics®, Rodger has served in key roles, including running payment integrity operations, developing SCIO’s analytic capabilities in the Payment Integrity and Network & Provider areas, solutioning for clients and prospects of the Payment Integrity Service Programs that represent the most significant portion of the business, and as a strategic account manager for several of SCIO’s largest clients.
Mark has been with SCIO since 2005 and brings over 30 years of sales and marketing experience to his role at SCIO Health Analytics. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Sales leading a team that focuses on Reimbursement Optimization, which includes Payment Integrity as well as Risk Adjustment & Quality Analytics solutions and services. Mark began his career in sales and marketing in 1986 when he joined General Motors Corporation and he has held numerous senior sales and marketing positions within Fortune 200 and other large organizations such as American Honda Motor Company and Automatic Data Processing (ADP). He received a Bachelor’s Degree at GMI Engineering & Management, now called Kettering University.
Gregg joined SCIO in 2015 bringing with him over 30 years of experience in healthcare information and life sciences technology. Gregg is responsible for leading the sales and client management efforts at SCIO, specifically the Care Optimization sales organization in the health plan, care & wellness, broker and provider space.
Prior to joining the SCIO team, Gregg lead sales at MedeAnalytics, Optum and ARAMARK for the provider divisions focused on various analytics tools and services. Gregg’s vast experience began at Shared Medical Systems (now Cerner) as a programmer and includes various roles in sales and marketing, new market and business development and as a National Sales leader for the Clinical Solutions division of SMS. Gregg also spent time leading a sales team for a UK based start-up in the life sciences industry focused on FDA automation tools for drug submissions.
Gregg holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Management from Philadelphia University, and is in the progress of completing his MBA in Healthcare.
John is responsible for leading the commercialization efforts of SCIO’s SaaS solution suite and advanced analytics within the US Life Science vertical. He has more than 15 years of sales, marketing and technology experience, with particular expertise in quantitative analytics and SaaS solutions for Life Sciences.
Prior to joining SCIO, John was SVP Sales & Marketing for Optivara where he positioned the organization around a SaaS based model collecting and analyzing information around the future state of a therapeutic area. Prior to Optivara John was SVP Sales for SteepRock, who pioneered the Opinion Leader Management System for Global Medical Affairs teams. Prior to SteepRock, John was with Qforma, Inc., a provider of advanced analytics for the health sciences industry, and was instrumental in Qforma’s impressive market success which positioned it for successful sale in 2013.
John holds a BSBA with concentration in Accounting from Suffolk University. While always willing to talk about SCIO’s industry changing solutions, John also enjoys coaching youth hockey and is an avid fan of the many great New England professional sports teams.
